This page is where I will post ideas that pop into my head, that I might expand on later in my blog.

December 28, 2009. Ok, I want to add a new thought to what I wrote earlier today. There are Islamic terrorist training camps in Virginia, New York, and I have heard that there is one that is about five miles from my house down in Hyattsville, MD. What gives? Why are these places allowed to exist when we are at war with totalitarianist Islamism? Why are we not shutting these places down? Why are we not arresting the people in these places and charging them with treason? Why are we allowing madrasas schools to even exist if they are preaching that America is the enemy and needs to be destroyed? There is a madrasas school located less than a mile from my house. In the same neighbourhood, there is a pizza place that is owned by Middle Eastern Muslims, and they make it real clear to you when you go in there that you are hated and that they would really rather have you not be there in the first place. Excuse me, but I thought we were at war with these people. Why are they even allowed to exist in this country escapes whatever logical thought that I may entertain. Then again, I guess I'm just one of those pro-America, mouth breathing, stupid, Neanderthal conservatives. What do I know. I'm not one of those educated, sophisticated world citizen liberals who want to see people like me destroyed "for the common good."

December 28, 2009. It's been a while since I wrote on this page. My thoughts today are on this week's terrorist attack on a flight inbound from Amsterdam by a Muslim extremist from Nigeria, and then another disturbance on the same numbered flight inbound again from Amsterdam the next day. When are we going to finally get serious about the ever present totalitarian Islamic threat? We need to do a few things and the Hell with political correctness. First of all, stop putting Grandma Sophie from Oshkosh through enhanced secondary security screenings, while you let Abdul from Morocco walts right onto the plane while he's chanting loudly in Arabic. It's time to stop all this candy ass PC bullshit and start doing things right. Start by profiling all Muslims flying on any airplane just like Israel does. If they sue, too goddam bad. I'm sure the airlines can find many conservative foundations that will defray their legal costs while defending those law suits. Also, no more settling out of court. Demand full public trials, so that the left's political correctness, ties to Radical Islam, and the lefts ties to the international communist movement can be trotted out in public during the discovery process. It's time to take off the gloves.

This spoiled, pampered Nigerian who graduated with an engineering degree from a college in London while living a lavish lifestyle in a $3.5 million luxury flat, needs to be handled with anything but kid gloves. Ship his ass off to Gitmo, try him in front of a military tribunal, and then execute him by firing squad with bullets dipped in pig blood. None of this will happen. What will now happen is Granny will get strip searched, and lavatories on airplanes will be off limits, requiring everyone to now fly in diapers. After all, it would just be too tragic to offend Muslim sensibilities.

May 29, 2009: I'm doing a lot of research right now on Barack Obama's nominee for the Supreme Court, Judge Sonia Sotomayor. Currently, I'm reserving my final opinion about her, until I get some more information, and get a chance to read the transcripts from her confirmation hearings. However, I do express some concern about her, because of her judicial action in the case of the fire fighters in New Haven, CT.

I also have a bigger picture in mind here. President Obama has an agenda in this country, and that agenda is to stick it to the non-pantywaiste, non-metrosexual white males; they are the ones that end up paying society's bills and get nothing in return, except for an increasing lower standard of living. I think he has a plan to socially engineer the Supreme Court so that legal opinions will overide the will of the majority of the American people. Things are starting to smell like a dictatorship in the making.

May 24, 2009: Here's a interesting conundrum. President Obama wants to close the prison for terrorists at Gitmo. Secretary Of Defense Gates says that they can be moved to Supermax US prison facilities. The human rights groups would have a field day with that one. Many of the detainees there are too dangerous to ever be released, but they will also never be brought to trial, no matter which administration is in power. They would have a completely different life in a Supermax prison. At Gitmo they can communicate with their fellow prisoners. They also spend time with recreation activities and are given Halal meals in accordance with their religion's dietary restrictions. That would change in Supermax. Prisoners there are confined in solitary confinement 23 hours per day. They get one hour per day for a shower and individual solitary exercise. They have no contact with any other human being, and they are kept in windowless cells that have a light burning 24 hours per day. Did the Leftists that want to close Gitmo think about that?

Here's another thought. We bring those terrorists to the US for trial in civilian courts. The rules of evidence are different in civilian courts than they are for military tribunals. Some federal judge in New York City decides that the evidence that was gathered legally under the military tribunal system, was gathered illegally under civilian law enforcement rules. The cases are thrown out and terrorists are released onto the streets of New York City. They "disappear" into various terrorist cells thoughout the country. There are many liberals and leftists that would love to see this happening. In their mind the United States has to atone for past sins and be knocked down a peg so that we can be more seamlessly merged into a one world government that is ruled by just such liberals. Wake up America.

May 5, 2009: President Obama says that he's going to go after tax cheats that shelter their money in foreign investments. He emphasises CORPORATIONS that do this, and that the practice is going to stop. Hey President Obama, how about going after rich Liberal tax cheats like Ted Kennedy. According to the book, "Do As I SAY, Not As I Do," the Kennedy family owns two Texas oil companies that are incorporated through a family trust located on the island ofFiji. Does those count as a couple of the corporations that need to pay their fair share, or will they be exempt, because they are owned by rich Liberals?

May 2, 2009: So our First Lady, Michelle Obama, goes to a food bank fundraiser wearing $540 tennis shoes. Could you imagine the outcry and the constant hammering from the Lame Stream Media if Laural Bush had done something that arrogant? There is a term for what she did. It's called "slumming." Michelle Obama is America's version of Marie Antionette. I wonder how many cakes she brought to the food bank so that the poor could eat. I guess this is about the same as the $400 plus lobster "snack" that she ordered at the Waldorf Astoria during the campaign...and they wonder why there are tea parties...

April 15, 2009: Happy Tax Day everyone. It's also the day for lots of tea parties going on throughout the country. I'll expand on this later, as well as something that I ran across about Socialism. However, in a nutshell, they should have election day on April 16th...right after everyone files their taxes.

April 14, 2009: So the Obama Administration has eased travel restrictions to Cuba. The way was paved by the House Black Caucus with their meeting in Havana with both Fidel and Raul Castro. Here he goes cuddling up to another Communist dictator. I'm starting to think that we really do now have a Marxist administration that is determined to take this country down and move us into a one world government controlled by the UN, and overseen by the likes of George Soros and his ilk. Let's see, Chavez and Castro, bowing to a Saudi king, insulting Britain, apologizing for America being such a bad imperialist nation, losing face at the G-20 Summit. I could go on. What's next? Oh, here's one. The DHS has issued a report that says that conservatives might be a problem when it comes to national security. The brownshirts are next. America, you got what you voted for...Communism. I hope all you rich liberals and your victim industry clients get taken down with the rest of us. I can't wait to hear you whine when your insulated, sanctimonious world collapses around you.

Ralph Peters has an article in the New York Post about handling piracy called, "The Audacity Of Rope." It's a must read. I will make some comments about it later, and also add my own thoughts about how to handle the pirate problem that is now starting to escalate. Remember when Vice President Biden said that President Obama would have a major crisis to handle within the first six months of his presidency? Mix this with North Korea launching missiles capable of reaching San Francisco and the nuclear situation in Iran and you've got a crisis. From reading several online policy sites, there is a worldwide consensus that Barak Obama is a weaker version of Jimmy Carter, and look how weak Carter was during the Iranian hostage crisis in 1979. President Obama needs to show the world that he's got brass balls when it comes to dealing with international situations, and not just a surge, that isn't a surge, in Afghanistan. But the Euroweenies won't like us. They don't anyway, so the hell with them. Let them have their temper tantrums. Behind the scenes they will breathe a sigh of relief that the bad old USA had to take care of the business that they in their emasculated state were not capable of doing themselves. Of course, they will continue to spit in our face, but that's unfortunately the way it is.

April 10, 2009: I'm waiting for an update on the American merchant captain that is still being held hostage by the Somali pirates. I have read online that pirates also hold a German merchant ship and they are bringing that ship to the area where the lifeboat with the captain and at least 4 pirates are drifting. They are demanding $2 million dollars in ransom money and the guarantee of safe passage. There are a couple of ways of handing this situation. I'm all for doing all we can to save the life of the captain, but more importantly, we need to kill every single one of those pirates, and also send in some cruise missiles to the bases that they operate out of, and wipe them off the face of the earth. Only we can do this. The rest of the world doesn't have the balls to even think about doing it.

Update April 11, 2009: Is there any truth to the Internet stories that Obama ordered the Navy not to take any action against the pirates? I find it amazing that the French of all people, had the balls to send in a commando team to rescue French seamen that were being held hostage by pirates. What gives? From what I understand, one of the reasons for a naval force is to take out pirates. Why were there no Seal teams in the water around the lifeboat, and the minute that the hostage captain jumped into the water and started swimming, why didn't the Seal team take out the pirates in the lifeboat? Or, when the captain jumped into the water, why didn't the Navy destroyer blow the lifeboat to smithereens? Where is the president on this?

Update April 12, 2009: I found out this afternoon, after I returned from church, that Captain Phillips is safe onboard a Navy vessel. It looks like he jumped into the water a second time, and a Navy Seal team opened fire on the pirates and took them out. Yesterday, I asked, "Where is the President on this?" Well, it looks like President Obama approved the use of force twice if Captain Phillips' life was in danger. KUDOS to President Obama, the Navy Seals, and all the other folks involved in this operation. Now Mr. President, how about having our military clean out the pirate problem once and for all? How about some cruise missles into the palaces of these pirates as well as taking out all their infrastructure? The world would thank you for it.

Update April 13, 2009: There are now mixed reports about the president's involvement in this situation. Some reports are saying that President Obama gave the order to "take care of business" as they say twice. There are conflicting reports that say that the AP lied about that, and that the Navy had standing orders in place on what to do when they were involved in a hostage situation like we had here. I'm hoping the former is true. While I am not an Obama fan I will support my president, and yes as an American he is my president whether or not I voted for him, whenever he does something right. That being said, the Media need to get their act together. Either he did or he didn't. Which is it? Stop being the water carrier for the Obama Administration. Stop distorting the truth. Stop your lies and spin about the war in Iraq. Stop being the Marxist propaganda organ that you have become. You have a job to do, and that is to be fair and objective when it comes to bringing the news to the American people, unlike your "fairness and objectiveness" that you always seem to have when there is a Republican administration in the White House. It doesn't matter that 98% of your are liberal Democrats. Do your freekin' job. Give us the facts and let us draw our own conclusions. Your opinions have a place, and that is on the editorial page.

April 9, 2009: There is an item that was brought to my attention the other day. It's about a controversial fence that Montgomery College in Rockville, MD installed in August. The MC Board decided to make the campus completely smoke free. No smoking anywhere on campus. This forced smokers to head off site in order to light up. One of the places that they headed was a cul du sac named Princeton Place. I actually checked out the location in question personally, and then did some research on the subject, reading both pro and con reports about the impact of the fence and the policy on the surrounding community. What I've concluded is this is basically a perfect example of "stage one thinking," as Dr. Thomas Sowell calls it in his book, "Applied Economics." The Montgomery Board of Directors, acting like many politicians, never looked beyond stage one when they made their decision. They were so driven by jumping on the Politically Correct bandwagon of, "smoke free," that they failed to take into account the possible consequences of their decision. Read more at my blog.

April 4, 2009: One of the things I've been seeing floating around on the internet these days is the possibility of a third political party forming as conservatives leave the Republican Party in droves. It's possible. However, I don't think that it is all that plausible. There is already such a party. It's called the Constitution Party. It membership consists of very right wing religious conservatives. I do enjoy reading their perspective on things, but I would not be comfortable belonging to that party. I don't think that a vast majority of the American people that consider themselves to be conservative would either. The Republicans need to get back to their fiscal conservative roots and leave the social issues to the Constitution Party members. Either that or a third party will emerge, and it will be a party based on common sense.

Here is where I would like to see the Republicans go. It's time for change. If they don't I would seriously consider joining a third party that embraces important issues as such:

First of all, don't let the Religious Right dictate your social policy. Many of us are not Fundamental Christians. While these fine people have the right to worship however they please, they do not have the right to force their beliefs on the rest of us, any more than Muslims have the right to try to force Sharia Law on the rest of us. For the young people that might have voted for John McCain in the last election because of fiscal issues, the choice of Sarah Palin as the vice presidential candidate sent them over the the Obama camp. Sarah Palin is a fine person and a fine governor, but choosing her sent the wrong message if you are going to attract younger voters. To many people, keeping abortion legal is a very important issue. People today are more sexually active than they were 50 years ago, and having a final safety net for an unwanted pregnancy in the event of "making a mistake" or having birth control failure is very important to them. The majority of people in this country, including the majority of Republicans, 76%, agree with this position. The Repubican party, or this new poltical party needs to leave this issue alone. It has been decided, and it part of the culture.

Secondly and most importantly, it's time to stop spending the taxpayers money like drunken sailors in a whorehouse. We don't have the money, and during a recession, you can't keep spending money you don't have. The current administration is doing this and it's nothing new. All President Obama is doing is continuing the same reckless spending habits of Former President Bush. Government feel good social programs are nothing but feel good bullshit. Compasionate Conservatism is nothing but Socialism Lite. Yes, you need a social safety net to take care of those that legitimately can not take care of themselves, and also to help get those that hit hard times get back up on their feet. However you need to make sure that whatever safety net is out there is coupled with a very strict policy of personal responsibility. The way the current social services industry is set up, that is not the case. It is set up in a way that keeps the people working in the social services industry employed with very little regard for the people they are supposedly helping. That's why 6 trillon dollars and 40 years later, poverty in this country is 600% greater than it was before the Great Society social programs were put into effect in the 1960s. You have to have a national policy of self-reliance, and reward those that work hard and pull themselves up by their bootstraps. At the same time, you have to have a policy that discourages and punishes bad behavior. The vast majority of people on welfare have substance abuse addiction problems, whether it be drugs or alcohol. There needs to be major intervention into this problem. If you are on the public dole, you need to be subject to random drug, alcohol, and nicotine testing. Public assistance money should go to food, shelter, clothing, cleaning supplies and such, not booze, crack, pot and cigarettes. If you don't like it, get a job. Don't get yourself in a situation where you need public assistance. If you do, suck it up and use the safetly net to get yourself back on your feet.

March29, 2009: It's been an interesting week. Last night I was with the Paulverizers with special guest, Robert Frohm on guitar. It was a great night of music. Earlier that day I found out that a close musical colleague, Lou Rao, better known as Blu Lou, lost his battle with cancer and passed away at 4:08 AM. While Lou and I had our differences, he did throw me a lot of work at onetime, and for that I will always be grateful. Rest in peace Lou. You've earned it.

Continuing along with my usual rants...I am starting to get angry...very angry! Where are we headed as a nation? I just finished reading an editorial written by a liberal elite admitting that he, and the other liberal elites that are now in charge, despise the average American. They can't stand our values, considering us to be lesser human beings than they are, and that we need to be controlled for our own good, and the good of society.

Let's see how this will work. We need to be controlled for our own good? Is that just like they have eliminated poverty in the inner cities with all the social programs that were designed to do just that? Ok, I get it. They have the urban poor permanently dependent on the social services industry for survival. Now it's time to work on the nonprofessional average members of the middle class and make those folks dependent on the social services industry too. After all, we are just too stupid to make our own decisions. We need to be told what to eat, what to drive, where to live, how much money we get to keep, etc.

The playing field needs to be leveled. That means that we are going to be driven down to the same poverty level as the inner city poor. We will be forced out of our homes as they are taken by eminent domain laws so they can be torn down and replaced with luxury condos for the liberal elites. We the displaced will then be herded into middle class ghettos in the inner ring suburbs or in the cities, where housing will be dispensed to us based on need. Public transportation will be readily available, because owning a vehicle will be subject to committee approval based on need. However, there will be some that will be allowed to keep their single family homes and their cars. They will be the ones working in the social services industries, information industries, and non-profits...providing, of course, that they are liberal elite wannabees.

Ok, so here is the new ruling class: Wealthy hedge fund managers like George Soros and his ilk, directors of quasi-private quasi-government enterprises like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac who have special contracts that are outside of the standard GS salary table. They will be able to skim to their hearts content, because there won't be anyone who will be willing to take them down. Next down the list will be the upper middle class society "managers" who will be in charge of the day to day operation of telling the rest of us what to do. As you go down the food chain, you will have a whole slew of government workers who will be in charge of keeping the rest of us in line. The ruled will be the poor, the working class, and substantial parts of the middle and upper middle class depending on what "industry" you are in. If you own your own business, you are up shit creek. If you work for the "man" you will have it made. It's amazing how the left always complained about "the man." Now they are "the man."

Until I am forced to at the point of a gun, and then I just might let them shoot me, I'm going to continue to drive my big gas guzzler. Not only do I need it for hauling my musical gear, I believe that as an American, I am free to drive what ever the hell I want. I am not going to drive a roller skate with a lawn mower engine or a hybrid so I can "make a statement." My statement the the new Liberal Elite rulling class is, screw you! Now, see how far you get if you start persecuting me. I'm not about to roll over and "get with the program." I have no use for the arrogant sanctimonious bastards that think that they know what's better for me than me. I think that I just might decide to throw the recylables in the trash today too. Would that be making a statement?

March 17, 2009: Happy St. Patrick's Day.

I commented back in January about the social engineering and how the Left is bound and determined to destroy this country and turn us into a Socialist nation under the leadership of the "great messiah" Barak Obama, the ultimate Socialist. I have been reading, however, about the fact that there is quite a bit of resistance to all this "socialization" of this country. There is a lot of unrest. From what I've read, gun sales, among the "average" non-elite American (you know, the "flyover country" scum that the elites hold in contemptual pity and scorn) are going through the roof. The gun manufacturers are running their factories 24/7 and can't keep up with the demand. It's the same with ammo manufactures. I've also read that in the heartland, there are a lot of people making plastique explosive, and the sale of detonator caps is through the roof too. What's going on? I think our government needs to step back and take a look at what this stimulus package is going to do to the average hard working American who is not part of the Liberal Elite, or their "clients" in the social services and victim industries.

Ayn Rand wrote a book called "Atlas Shrugged" about how the productive, who were becoming more and more oppressed by government regulations, decided to stop producing until the government collapsed under it's own regulatory weight. Rand was a Russian by birth, and was looking at things from a European perspective. In 1812 the Muscovites burned their city to the ground rather than letting it fall to Napoleon. Americans are not that passive aggressive. Here in the US, Andrew Jackson slaughtered 2000 British Troops during the same time frame as they were heading to New Orleans two weeks after the War Of 1812 ended. Will we go Rand or will we go postal? I'm hoping that after two years of suffering, the American people will decide that enough is enough, and gets rid of the Democrats in the House and Senate. Our government is now controlled by Marxist/Socialists who are bound and determined to destroy this country so that it can be remade into a Socialist "paradise" with their cronies controlling everything...just like Socialist Western Europe. Do we want to have that overall reduction in our standard of living? Compare the standard of living of the middle class in Europe with the standard of living here in the US. Despite our "inequality," we are much better off. Even our poor drive automobiles and have air conditioning. We need to start working at the grass roots level, get Conservatives in control of the local and state governments again, and then get rid of Pelosi, Reid, and their cronies and get some people in there that want to keep America as the shining "City On The Hill" that it was and should be. Right now, however, I'm getting real worried that this country is going to go "postal," and I'd rather not see that happen.

January 18, 2009: Today is Sunday. The Obama Train arrived in DC Saturday after the annointed one made several whistle stop speeches along the way. I was travelling to a gig in Edgewater, MD, and all along the route that the train was going to take, there were police at every bridge and station. Of course there were. The President-elect is arriving. I'm not going to complain one bit about that necessary security. I am concerned, however with the direction that President Obama is going to take this country. We don't need more Socialism. We are socialistic enough, and the "feel good" left wing policies that have been in effect since the New Deal and then strengthened during the 1960s Great Society programs, have not made us a stronger nation. We have become a polarized nation of victims and the industries that support them with the money of the productive. Add to this mix the highly educated rich liberals who in their Narcissistic sense of entitlement, feel that they should be the ones that rule over the rest of us "unwashed masses." It's time for action.

If you have never read Ayn Rand's book, Atlas Shrugged, it's time you did. The Atlases of this country, the business owners and the productive, have been carrying the weight of the Left's social engineering "factory" for too long. This "factory" has done little but produce "defective products" that are hard pressed to function in our society as productive citizens. These "defective products," as well as the other "Victicrats," both the so called victims and their upper middle class and wealthy enablers are now about to enjoy a period of time where the "managers" of society will enjoy all the finer things in life, while the productive will be reduced in standard of living to the realm of the working poor. Their figurehead in the persona of Barak Obama is now at the helm, and the dictatorship of the intellectual classes will be brought into fruition. That is their goal, and we need to make sure that their social engineering blows up in their face.

December 31, 2008: First of all it's New Year,s Eve, and I hope that if you are out celebrating tonight that you do it in a safe manner. There will be plenty of police sobriety checkpoints out there tonight, and the cops on duty are not too happy with the fact that they have to work on a night like this. They are not going to be sympathetic to anyone who appears even slightly intoxicated. Be safe.

I was a little taken back the other day when a liberal friend of mine told me that my not voting for Barak Obama means that I'm a closet racists. Ah...Liberal Guilt, or specifically in this case Liberal White Guilt. I guess that's my problem. I'm not guilty enough. I only recycle what is cost effective to recycle. I shamelessly drive a large fuel inefficient vehicle, because I need to haul drums around, and I'm not going to make a Bobo like statement of driving a hybrid so that I can appear enlightened and important to my other Liberal friends. Excuse me while I throw a few dozen plastic shopping bags in the trash.

My not voting for Obama has nothing to do with race. I would gladly vote for Thomas Sowell or Walter Williams if they ever ran for President. I don't agree with Obama's Socialist policies. I will say, however, that I'm a little less nervous about him since I've seen what his Cabinet picks are, and his moving more toward the center. I'm hoping that it's not a smoke screen. I'll be looking a few levels down below his Cabinet picks to see what kind of people he appoints to the nitty gritty bureaucrat positions that actually do the dirty work. No matter what, it's going to be an interesting ride for a few years.

December 21, 2008: Why do highly educated urban professional types call for more regulation of our financial and manufacturing industries as well as every other aspect of our lives? Because they know that they will get to be the ones that write and enforce the regulations for their benefit while the rest of us get to pay for it. They have a very arrogant and elitist view of the world...a world in which they are global citizens, and the world's ruling class. In their eyes, they are God.

There is a big picture here. The big picture is that it's a cultural thing that has been ongoing for several generations. The late Paul Weyrich summed it up when he wrote that conservatives won the political war, but liberals won the cultural war and that culture trumps politics. I would like to add that once culture trumps politics, culture will then define and control politics. This last election is proof of that. I would also like to add that I believe that those that won the cultural war, allowed conservatives to win the political war, so that there would be a false sense of security while the real agenda was being pushed behind the scene. We are now in the final stages of the master plan of the Fabians, the Wobblies, and the Cultural Marxists of the Frankfurt School. They have managed over a one hundred year period to subvert and change American culture to a culture of envy, control, and entitlement managed by laissez faire meritocratic, super educated, Narcissistic elites; New York Times editorialist David Brooks wrote a book about them called Bobos In Paradise. Bobos are what are known as Bourgeois Bohemians. They have managed to fuse 1980s Yuppie Capitalism with the 1960s Counter Culture, and become at the least, very comfortable financially, while they alleviate their guilt by believing in and supporting the "right" causes. Consequently, they get to have it all at the rest of our expense. They are now about to change America for their benefit and the "little people" are going to pay for it. Welcome to a dictatorship of the intellectual classes. As Marie Antionette supposedly said, "Let them eat cake."

Do you like your house? Do you like where you live? How are liberal elites changing that? Let's start with "Sustainable Development." How dare the average middle class person without a college degree think they are entitled to own a home, especially a single family home in the suburbs. Let's change things by passing zoning ordinances that require that all new homes be built on at least an acre or more of land in order to prevent "urban sprawl." That's why you have McMansions. When was the last time you saw a developer building a nice 1200 square foot home on a half or quarter acre like they did during the 1950s? During that time middle class America migrated from the cities to the suburbs, so that they could own a home with a yard, and the housing industry accommodated them. It was the post World War II era of comfortable prosperity personified by the calm stewardship of the Eisenhower Administration. The idea here is for the liberal elites to undo, or deconstruct if you will, the ingrained middle class culture of the 1950s. Only high dollar urbanist liberal professional types are to own property. The rest of us need to be forced into human habitat areas that will consist of middle class housing projects with very little places to park. The committee will decide how much living space you need, and you will be assigned housing accordingly. Of course the projects will be right next to public transportation. Driving is only for me not thee. Can't you see the Prius parked in the driveway of my McMansion (the SUV is "hidden" in the garage)? I'm important so I get to drive. You aren't so you don't. That way I won't have to worry about traffic jams either. You can shut up and take the bus.

Speaking of cars, don't you know what we need are more high priced hybrids so that the average person can not afford a car? Not only that, you are a tradesman who needs a van? Fill out this application and explain why you need something besides a roller skate with a lawn mower engine. If the committee approves your request, you will be able to get your truck. If not, get a job doing something else. The committee will arrange for retraining in exchange for another chunk of your soul.

Speaking of jobs, you want to do what for a living? Have society"s managers approved? The committee knows what society needs for workers, and will "guide" you into a job that is what is best for society as a whole, and the hell with what you want. You will shut up and do as you are told. The elites are now in charge. They are smarter, better educated, and your rulers. Get used to it. This can be done the easy way or the hard way. It's up to you. It's hard to believe that you still have an independent streak after 12 years of public school indoctrination and for some, advanced indoctrination into the collective mindset facilitated by the higher education "industry."

Of course, this is going to affect your lifestyle. The elitist left thinks that wealth is a zero sum game. If you make a buck, someone else loses a buck. They cry their phony crocodile tears about how awful it is that the poor are poor and deprived, because of Capitalism. For some odd reason they have no problem with Capitalism when it advances Socialism for their benefit. The gameplan is, they make a buck and we lose a buck. All animals are created equal, but some are created more equal than others. We are about to find out just how much more equal the elites who now control our politics, culture, education, legal profession, and media are. The average American is in for a very rude awakening begining on January 20, 2008.

December 20, 2008: There is one thing that I've noticed that most liberals (or progressives if you insist) seem to have, and that is hypocritical arrogance. They know what's better for us than us. They feel (notice that I said feel...their entire world view is based on feelings) that they are better and smarter than the rest of us, and consequently, should be in charge. They are entitled to be our rulers. We, the little people, are to shut up and do as we are told!

We are too prosperous; not them, we. How dare we have affordable air conditioning. Something has to be done about that. Let's tax the coal industry into bankruptcy so that electricity will become so expensive that only rich liberals will be able to afford air conditioning. The rest of us can use fans and/or sleep on the porch like we had to do in the old days. You want to drive an SUV or a pick up truck, and you don't need it for work? How dare you. You need to drive a roller-skate with a lawn mower engine if you are allowed to drive at all. The "committee" will decide whether or not you need a large vehicle for work, and their decision is binding. Of course, the rich liberal elites who send their kids to private school will continue to drive their Escalades and Suburbans. They are entitled and we aren't. We are to ride the bus, a bicycle, or walk.

School vouchers? Hell no. A good education is only for them. The rest of us can send our kids to failed public schools, so that they can be "dumbed down" into the realm of victimhood. Of course the rich liberal elites' kids are getting Socialist indoctrination in the private schools too, but they are being indoctrinated to be society's ruling class. The long march to Marxism is about to culminate on January 20, 2009, with the inauguration of Barack Obama as the president. We are also only two states shy of the calling for a Constitutional Convention. Did you read about this in the news paper, or hear about it on the evening news? Of course not. A Constitutional Convention would rewrite the US Constitution. The last time there was a Constitutional Convention was in 1787. What came out of it? The US Constitution. Our government of the people, by the people, and for the people is about the become the government of the elites, by the elites, and for the elites. Wake up people.

December 18, 2008: I teach part time in a private school. The other day I was having lunch, and a couple of the history teachers were talking about a new text book that they were going to use next year. Gee, I'm wondering why these NPR listening elites have chosen a book written by Eric Foner. Yes, I know that he is an esteemed professor at Columbia University, and that he's one of the leading experts in the period of history known as Reconstruction. However, it seems to me that his basic premise is Deconstruction when it comes to the United States of America. Foner is a Communist apologist who grew up as a Red Diaper Baby, became an anti-American 1960s radical and seems to have a hatred for this country. His parents were Marxists, his uncle, Philip Foner was the Communist Party USA's official labor historian, and another uncle, Moe Foner, was a Communist Party activist in the Service Employees International Union, which is well known for it's Socialist activism.

Eric Foner was an anti-American 1960s radical activist, and is a supporter of American Communism.. After 9/11 as we were moving toward taking military action against Afghanistan and Iraq, Foner stated, "[Terror] merely enhances and exaggerates the feeling among exploited people that the matter of protest has to be left to a few martyrs. And just as the signs were growing of a renewed confidence in the world anti-capitalist movement, the attention of the world's leaders is focused on a single, dreadful act that gives them the excuse they need to gun the engines of oppression." As the US was entering Iraq, Professor Foner participated in a "teach-in" at Columbia University along with another anti-American professor, Nicholas DeGenova, who stated, "The only true heroes are those who find ways that help defeat the US military. I personally would like to see a million Mogadishus." Foner stated during the "teach-in" his definition of patriotism: "I have a different definition of patriotism, which comes from Paul Robeson: 'The patriot is the person who is never satisfied with his country.'" The liberal historian, John Diggins wrote about Foner: "Foner is both an unabashed apologist for the Soviet system and an unforgiving historian of America." Historian Theodore Draper criticized Foner's biased historical text, The Story of American Freedom, as the "story of unfreedom...seeking to rehabilitate American Communism."

So why are history teachers planning on using an anti-American history text in a high school level American History course? Listening to these people rant about how this "wonderful textbook" deconstructs American greatness, you begin to wonder where their loyalties lie. On January 10, 1963 the 45 goals of the American Communist Party were read into the Congressional Record. Number 17 is: "Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks." Any questions?
