Performance Schedule
Thursdays:
Beginning April 1, 2010 the open mike jam session at Sapphire Indian and Thai Restaurant in Laurel will be starting up again. The jam will run from 8 PM till Midnight or so, depending on attendance. Joining me in the house band will be Chris Hall on bass and vocals, and Roy Brooks on guitar. We will do blues, rock, jazz, and country. Sapphire is located in the shopping center at the intersection of MD Route 197 and Contee Road, just south of the center of Laurel, MD.
Wednesdays:
Beginning on October 3, 2007 there will be blues jam session at the Old Bowie Town Grille in Bowie, Maryland.The house band at the Grille will consist of myself on drums and the primary host, and co-hosts Carl Cimino on keyboards, Charles Solomon on bass, and our new addition, Joe Poppen on guitar. The jam runs from 8 PM until either 11 PM or Midnight, depending on turn out. This jam is turning out to be very successful. Attendence is increasing, and we are all having a great time. Come ready to play, and come hungry and thirsty. The place has great food and great drinks. Bob Thompson, the owner is also one of the most gracious hosts I've ever met.
There is a new jam session that falls on the second Monday of the month at JV's Restaurant in Falls Church, VA. Steve "Wolf" Crescenze is the host. Matt Kelly holds down the guitar chair, and I'm the house drummer. This is a blues jam in which individual musicians come up to play with the house band, rather than groups being put together. It's a high quality jam open to seasoned players. Less experienced musicians are welcome to attend, listen, and learn. There is also a featured guest artist at each session. Previous guests have included Tom Maxwell and Waverly Milor. Starting in September, this jam will occur on both the second and fourth Monday of the month.

at Chick Hall's. It's been a great run for the past four and a half years
for me, and for a Maryland musical institution that has been in business
since 1955. Good bye Surf Club. It's a shame that things couldn't have
