Here's where I will post links to various sites that I enjoy or provide useful information. I will update this page frequently as I discover new links that may be of interest. Links are in no particular order.

Musical Links

www.joybodycomb.com is the website for one of my favorite singers in the DC area. I work with Joy quite a bit, and it's always a pleasure. There is a link at the bottom of the site that takes you to some videos on youtube of Joy with the Hall Brothers and me on drums that were recorded at Bangkok Blues in Falls Church, VA. Go see on one of Joy's performances. You won't be disappointed.

www.gaylorandkatsu.com is the website of two of my closest musical friends, Carol Gaylor and Bruce Katsu. Their music is magical. Check them out as soon as you get a chance.

www.capitolrock.com The website of DC area music historian and author, Mark Opsasnick. His book by the same title, is a history of the Washington, DC music scene from the 1950s through the middle of the 1970s, when the DC area had a thriving club music scene. Check out his site, purchase the book, and read it. It is full of information about the very unique Washington, DC music scene, and its niche in American popular music.

www.jvsrestaurant.com JV's is a small intimate venue located at 6666 Arlington Blvd. in Falls Church, VA.(the intersection of Route 50 and Annandale Road). Good bands, good food, good beer...Check out their site for information on who's playing there. Lorraine, your hostess, always makes sure there is good music at JV's.

www.paulverizers.com Home of one of the bands that I play with: The Paulverizers. While we are not doing much except for hosting a blues jam session at the Old Bowie Town Grille on the third and fourth Sundays of each month, we have not gone away. We are still open for other gigs as they materialize. NOTE: This site has not been updated for quite a while due to some problems getting the hosting service to accept uploads. I am in the process of a complete site redesign, but it's going to take a while. In the meantime, I will be posting Paulverizers information on this site.

www.rightonrhythm.com Wayne Kahn's great site that is a great source of information about bands and musicians in the Washington, DC area. Check it out.

www.theroustabouts.com One of the bands that I'm proud to be associated with. The Roustabouts is a fiddle based blues band and the band is quickly becoming a major league musical tour de force in the Washington, DC club music scene with a large following of loyal fans. Come check us out.

www.bangkokblues.com is the website for Bangkok Blues, a real nice musical venue is Falls Church, VA. I've played there many times. There is always good music there.

www.oldbowietowngrille.com is where I host the Wednesday evening blues jam. The food is great, the drinks are cold, and the music is hot. Check their site frequently, so you can see happening at "The Grille." The place is great!

Political Links

The Right Scale, Dick McDonald's site, dickmcdonald.blogspot.com is a must read every day. Dick is a conservative economist who posts articles of interest in regards to financial and world event subjects on a daily basis. This is the first site that I check out every day. Note: Dick's site has been taken down by the pseudo-Marxists that are in charge of our media and tech industry over at Blogger, because they found some loophole in their agreement that they only use to shut down Conservative political sites. The thought police have arrived. Dick is now concentrating on his "Rise Up America" plan regarding Social Security reform and other financial interestes. Check it out at www.riseupamerica.us. Look at the graphs and read the articles. You will get a great education about where this country could be economically if our politicians would ever get their heads out of their asses.

www.discoverthenetwork.org David Horowitz's very informative site about the the political and financial connections of the Left. Check it out to see where the money flows from to the Fifth Column who hate America and wants to bring us down.

www.dlc.org The website of the Democratic Leadership Council. While I don't agree with everything they profess, it's nice to hear a voice of reason coming from centrist Democrats instead of the shrill anti-everything rhetoric of the Marxist Far Left that seems to have taken over a once great American poltical party.

www.republican-leadership.com is the website for the centrist Republican Leadership Council. They are pretty much in line with my way of thinking: Fiscally conservative, and moderate to moderately conservative on most social issues including being pro-choice on abortion. This is the brand of Republicanism that I believe in. This brand of Republicanism, which is very much in line with the Progressive Conservative movement that is prevalent in parts of Canada and Europe, is the future of the Republican Party.

www.republicansforchoice.com and www.gopchoice.org are two sites by pro-choice republican organizations. They both claim that the majority, 73%, of Republicans are pro-choice. I find their sites very informative, and I agree with a large percentage of their positions. I don't consider them to be RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) like many on the far right do.

www.townhall.com A conservative commentary site with a host of columnists. One of the best conservative opinion sites out there.

www.grouchyoldcripple.com Denny Wilson's poltical site. His commentary is a riot. It's one of my favorite blog sites on the internet.

www.intellectualconservative.com I know, according to liberals there is no such thing as an intellectual conservative. They seem to think that they corner the market on intelligence. If it keeps them happy, I'll let them wallow in their high opinions of themselves. However, if you want to read some well thought out articles about world events from a conservative point of view, check out this site.

Dr. Sanity's Blog http://drsanity.blogspot.com If there is one blog that I would have for my daily read, it's this one. Dr. Pat Santy (Dr. Sanity), is a psychiatrist and former NASA flight surgeon. She writes about just about everything under the sun from a very common sense conservative point of view.

Sigmund, Carl, and Alfred Blog http://sigmundcarlandalfred.wordpress.com Siggy is also a mental health professional just like Dr. Sanity. His blog site is also a must read on a daily basis.

www.tsowell.com Thomas Sowell, a black conservative scholar and intellectual, is the Rose and Milton Friedman Chair economist at the Hoover Institute at Stanford University. This man makes so much sense, that if he ran for president tomorrow, I'd be the first in line at the voting booth.

www.tammybruce.com Tammy is one of my favorite writers and radio show hosts. She is what I would call a Common Sense Liberal. She is a life long Democrat who is not a Leftist. She is openly gay, owns guns, supports the death penalty, is pro-choice on abortion, voted for both George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan, and used to head the largest local chapter of the National Organization of Women, the Los Angeles chapter, before she became disenfranchied with the hypocrisy of the Womens' Movement and the Left in general. She saw it from the inside, and now speaks out about the dark side of the Left, and how it is destroying this country. Her books are also eye opening "must reads" for both Liberals (Leftists will hate her) and Conservatives alike.

Command Sergeant Major J. D. Pendry, US Army Retired, has a great blog site http://jdpendry.com/. Good old fashioned pro-Americanism from the wisdom of a United States Army E-9. Very few members of the US Military attain the rank of E-9. Whether they are Army Sergeant Majors, Air Force Chief Master Sergeants, Marine Corps Sergeant Majors, or Navy Master Chief Petty Officers, they are a breed of individual, male or female, that are in a class by themselves. When they speak, we should listen with both ears to their wisdom and guidance. There are also links to the good Sergeant Major's other articles posted elsewhere.

www.nevilleawards.com A recently discovered site that exposes the PC cowardice and anti-American malice of the Communist Left that has invaded academia, the media, our government and our culture.

www.perc.org is the website of a think tank in Montana called the Property and Environmental Research Center that specializes in solving environmental problems with market based solutions. That's my position. I find myself in agreement with just about everything they say. They show how most of the government's policies and regulations pertaining to conservation and the environment have been failures. So why do the various environmental organizations cling to failed policies? Because it's about power not saving the environment.

http://www.rep.org is the website for Republicans For Environmental Protection. Like PERC, they are dedicated to using market based solutions to solving environmental problems rather that the Marxist approach of most of the "Green" organizations. It's no wonder that most environmental organizations are considered to be "watermellons"—green on the outside, red on the inside. Remember that the next time you see some wealthy liberal driving a Prius.

sayetright.blogspot.com is the blog of Evan Sayet, a conservative comedian based out of the Los Angeles area. I enjoy his writings. He does a great job of exposing the hypocracy of today's liberals. I agree with just about everything that he says. It's nice to see someone with the courage to stand up to the left. I wish that the current administration would do the same.

My Blogs

http://almostwhitetrash.blogspot.com is one of my blogs where I give my opinion on various world events. Be aware, I'm not very nice. Then again, why should I be. I'm one of those "peasants" that the liberal elite Marxists hold in scorn and contempt. Guess what? The feeling is mutual.

Chip's Common Sense is my blog where I also comment on various topics. Again, I can be quite cantankerous.
