The Lieberman Lamont Debacle

First of all, as most of you know, I'm a fairly conservative individual who happens to vote Republican between 85% and 90% of the time. So you are probably wondering why a conservative like me would vote for a Liberal Democrat named Joe Lieberman. I'll tell you why. It's because we need people like Senator Joe Lieberman in the US Senate. He's one of the last of the old time, pro America Democrats left. Zell Miller left the party "that left him". Harry Truman, John Kennedy and Henry "Scoop" Jackson are all dead. Bill Bradley is no longer around. You still have Tom Vilsak and Evan Bayh, which is a good thing. On the other side of the coin you have Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Dennis Kucinich, Howard Dean, and the other George Soros/Moveon.org neo-Marxists and international Socialists that now make up the core base of the Democratic Party leadership. Now you have Ned Lamont, a George Soros supported multi-millionaire Socialist winning the nomination for the US Senate in the Democratic primary in Connecticut. This has significance.

First, let's look at why I would support Joe Lieberman, and have for the past 18 years. If I was still a Connecticut resident, like I was when I was active duty military, I'd still vote for Independent Joe Liberman in this November's election. Joe Lieberman believes in the goodness of this country, unlike the blame America first neo-Marxists that have taken over the once great Democratic Party. I didn't agree with Joe Liberman on most of his positions, but here's why I always voted for him. Joe Liberman is what you would call the "Loyal Opposition." He's part of the checks and ballances that keeps things on an even keel, while at the same time, putting his country first above everything else in the political sphere. He's not about to sell us out to a one world government under the UN.

His downfall, because the Left's propaganda campaign has been very successful, is he supports President Bush in the War Against Islamofascism. The Democrats have moblilized their Far Left base, funded by Soros' 527s, in a campaign to bring down Bush, and force a US loss in this war. Why? Because, a weak failed America is necessary for the advancement of their International Marxist cause. Using their finest Stalinist tactics, the word is out: "If you support Bush and this war, you will be destroyed. There is no room for inclusion in the Democratic Party. If you don't bow to the Soros Communists, you will be destroyed."

Wnat has brought about this shift in ideology in the Democratic Party? It's something that started many years ago, and is finally being brought to fruition. In order to understand this, we have to take look at history.
