The 2006 Midterm ElectionToday is Sunday, November 5, 2006. The Midterm Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7, 2006. What is at stake with this election? This election is not about issues. It's about revolution. Back in the 1960s the Communist anti-American organizations, Students For A Democratic Society and the Weather Underground put it in plain English: "The issue is not the issue. The revolution is the issue." It if was about issues, why isn't abortion the number one issue driving this election? What we are seeing is an attempt by the Marxist Far Left to begin the process of overthrowing the United States Government in order to advance a dictatorship of the intellectuals, just like what happened in Russia is 1917. Communism didn't die with the collapse of the Soviet Union, it just went underground in Russia. It is also still alive and flourishing in China, Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela, and here in the United States. In fact, the US has two Communist parties. Billionaire Marxists like George Soros and Stephen Bing now own the Democratic party here in the United States. Read moveon.org's website if you don't believe me. George Soros has come out and said that there will be a new US Constitution by the year 2020. He should know. He's one of the big Marxist moneybags funding the revolution for their benefit. This process has long been in the making, and is now making its move. The groundwork for this revolution was put into place back in 1789. That year, the US Constitution became law. Our Founding Fathers set us up as a Representative Republic rather than a Democracy. They knew the dangers of majority, or mobocracy rule, which is Democracy. That's why the checks and balances were put into the Constitution. They had studied the governments of ancient Rome and ancient Greece, as well as the philosophies of John Locke and Jean Rousseau. Our Constitution is based loosely on John Locke. However, Rousseau and his philosophy of Collective Socialism comes into the picture. Rousseau is part of what drove the French Revolution, which also occurred in 1789. What is little known is that at the same time, in 1789, French Socialists began to establish colonies here in the United States. America was the great experiment that was supposed to fail. There had to be a system in place to take over in the event of failure. However, this has morphed into what we are experiencing today. There has been much work behind the scenes over the years to put into place what is now occurring. Let's look at the issues briefly: There was an attempt to establish a central bank back in 1802, but Thomas Jefferson refused to sign the charter. He know better. A central bank was established under the John Quincy Adams Administration, but the charter was revoked under the Andrew Jackson Administration. The next time a central bank was attempted was under the Lincoln Administration. President Lincoln refused the allow it, and was assassinated two weeks later. A central bank was finally established in 1913 under the Wilson Administration, and has been in place ever since. It's called the Federal Reserve. Establishment of a central bank is called for in Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto. What else occurred in 1913? A federal income tax was put into place. It was originally designed to tax at 1% any income over $3,000 per year. What has it morphed into? Progressive taxation, which is right out of Marx's playbook, and when the Democrats are in charge, high taxes for the top income earners, not wealthy, are in order. The wealthy, most of whom are old money Liberal Socialists have their money hidden in tax shelters like overseas trusts. As Leona Helmsley said, "We don't pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes." Progressive tax rates punish success and reward failure through redistribution of income. The wealthy Socialist Elites can keep their wealth exempt. It's concern and compassion for all mankind while spending someone else's money. Liberals know that the best way to control people is by controlling their money and spending power. If people have more of their own money, they are more independent. If they don't, more and more are reliant on government social programs in order to survive. At the extreme end, you can have the ultimate control by the threat of starvation. Look at Maoist China, Stalinist Russia, and Kim Jong Ill's North Korea. You have people eating tree bark and grass in order to survive in North Korea. Stalin starved 20 million of his own people to death. Why does the Whole Foods crowd want all food to be organic? Because it's better for you? No, because then only they will be able to afford food without a government subsidy. How do you control thought and behavior? Threaten to take away the subsidy if you don't toe the line. In another words, obey us or starve. I have nothing against Whole Foods. It's a great company, and they have wonderful products. However, I couldn't afford to shop there on a regular basis, and most Americans can't. If you look at the demographics of the average Whole Foods customer, you will see that they are highly educated, upper income Urban Socialists who consider themselves to be better than the rest of us. They believe in Collectivism, because it puts them in charge of the collective. They are entitled to more, whether they have earned it or not. Pass the Chablis please... Also, in 1913 you had the passage of the 17th Amendment. Before that time, US Senators were appointed by the state legislatures rather than elected by the populace. The reason why Senators were not elected was to guarantee states rights, and to act as a cooling off body if needed to be a check and balance against the House Of Representatives. With the passage of the 17th Amendment we went from being a Representative Republic to being a Democracy. In 1933 with the passage of Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal, we moved into Socialism, which became more entrenched in 1964 with Lyndon Johnson's Great Society social programs, and recently with George W. Bush's Compassionate Conservativism. America's greatness was not based on Collective Socialism. It was based on Rugged Individualism. During the late 1800s there was a movement in England called the Fabian Society. It was made up of highly educated intellectual Socialists like George Bernard Shaw and H. G. Wells. Unlike Marx, they felt that Communism could be put into place slowly by osmosis rather than by revolution. They began by slowly influencing the spouses and children of the wealthy capitains of industry that became rich as a result of the Industrial Revolution. This happened in Europe as well as here in the United States and the rest of the industrialized First World. The idea was to make the spouses and children of privilege feel guilty for their wealth and put into place laws that would redistribute wealth, without having to worry about their own wealth being redistributed. It's ok to be rich and exploit the poor as long as you believe that everyone should have income equality and you can redistribute someone else's income in order to level the playing field. In addition, you are entitled to more, because you are smarter and better educated, and someone has to be in charge. Why can't that person be you? After all, in your Narcissistic mind you are better than everyone else anyway. It's the way to make things fair. You believe in the right things, so therefore you should be rewarded financially through your cut of the money in the redistribution plan. That's why the lady with the PhD in Revolutionary Lesbian Studies is resentful that the only job she can find is working a cash register at Borders Books for $10 per hour. As a side thought, I'm sure the nose ring, and the neck tattoos come into play too. In her mind, she has a degree in something that advances her "saving the world" mentality. She wouldn't have thought about getting a degree in Finance, Accounting, an MBA, Chemistry, or Engineering. If she had earned a market driven degree, she'd have to work for "The Man," the big evil corporate world or the evil government. It's not fair that you have to work for the evil Capitalist "Man" in order to make a decent living. Not only that, earning an Engineering degree requires hard work. and one trait of the Left's culture is Sloth. They want everything for nothing, or as little work as possible. They shouldn't have to work hard. It's all the evil Capitalist government's fault. Of course this government is more evil ever since George W. Bush has been President. He, and the average American, stand in the way of the advancement of the One World Marxist Socialist Utopian Government that the Left so desperately craves in order to establish their complete power and control over the rest of us. It's not about issues, it's about revolution, and that revolution will lead to a Dictatorship Of The Intellectuals, or Communism. Things that were put into place in 1789, with the Fabians in the 1880s, with 1913's income tax, Federal Reserve and 17th Amendment, 1922's Frankfurt School and Herbert Marcuse's Marxism, John Dewey's application of Marxism to our public education system in the 1920s, and admitted Communist Roger Baldwin's establishment of the ACLU in 1922 to advance Marxist causes behind the scenes while pretending to champion civil liberties are now reaching fruition. The pieces of the puzzle have been put into place slowly and behind the scenes since 1789. The trigger is about to be pulled starting what could be called the American Bolshevik Revolution. The Democratic National Committee's platform reads just like Karl Marx, and if you go to the websites of the American Socialist Party and the Communist Party USA, their positions are one and the same as the Democrats. They endorse the Democrats running for office, since the Democrats will advance their causes. Let's see, the Democrats will advance the causes of the Communist Party USA? Also, they list the ACLU as their legal representative wing. Hmmm..........Keep that in mind when you vote on Tuesday.
