Chip Clemmer has been a mainstay in the Washington, DC music scene for over 35 years. He spent 26 years as an Air Force musician, touring all over the world at the concert hall and arena level. Over the years, Chip has also played with DC Authority, the Bob Tennyson Orchestras, the Tom Cunningham Orchestra, the Frankie Condon Orchestra, and the Paulverizers.
Currently, he performs regularly with the Joy B. Band and the Hall Brothers Band. Chip is also a sub drummer with the blues bands, Bad Influence and Built 4 Comfort.
His professional credits include performances with Roy Clark, Doc Severinsen, Bobby Herriot, Patti Austin, Mitch Miller, Marie Osmond, Rita Coolidge, Henry Mancini, Ray Charles, and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra.
He is available for freelance work, master classes, clinics, and a very limited amount of private lessons by appointment.
